Halden is twenty-eight covers in the front rooms of a 1760s townhouse. There is one menu, it changes with the season, and it is cooked for you by the people you can see at the pass.

“If it doesn't grow, swim or graze within a day of London, it has to earn its place on the plate.”

Head chef James Halden cooked in Paris and Copenhagen before coming home to open his own room. The kitchen is open to the dining room, so the last course is plated in front of you.

Four hundred bins, decanted at the table.

Our sommelier pairs each course from a list built on growers in Burgundy, the Loire and, increasingly, Sussex. Ask for something by the glass from the Coravin list if you'd rather choose your own.
